Mike Pauly

Just finished speaking to Mike and he seems to be travelling OK despite troublesome legs. Lets not forget that Mike is 75 years of age and is walking from Perth to Fremantle with the aim of arriving in time for the AMSA Conference in October.

He also suffers from Osteo arthritis which makes this journey even more amazing.

He left Narrabri this morning and next major town will be Boggabri, about 57 km away with two small towns in between where he may pull up stumps for a break.

He thinks he may have covered about 7000 km at this stage. He is going to confirm that later today maybe.

He is taking it easy as there is plenty of time for him to make it to Newcastle in time for the conference.

A family in Narrabri asked him in for cup of tea and I think they may have plied him with an overabundance of food.

Not much else to report but he is OK.
