Mike Pauly, the road home

StartFragment

Mike arrived in Nundroo late yesterday and rang me when he settled in.

In the two days leading up to his arrival he covered over 60 km which was a good effort.

Yesterday he met up with three groups while on the road, one being an adventurer driving a mini Californian, whatever that is, then he met up with Sandra and John, Sandra belonging to a walking group Mike belongs to.

The third visitors were Terry and Denise, Terry is President of Heywood Mens Shed. Terry is a car enthusiast and is driving an old Dodge to Busselton WA.

The best place for phone connection was inside the road house and he was on his second cup of coffee when he rang.

Washing is being done this morning and he will be leaving when it is dry, he hopes to leave at about 10:00 am.

At time of leaving it was raining and storms are predicted.

He said that facilities at Nundroo had improved since his last visit but there will be no phone coverage for the next 3-4 days.

So we shall have to patient and wait for the next call.
