Mike Pauly, the road home

Mike attended the Dawn Service at Kellerberrin and had breakfast with some of the Emergency Service guys.

True to form Mike watched his favourite football side BUT a win on the day was not to be.

Rob broke ranks and headed back home leaving Mike to face the remaining walk alone.

Robs company was very welcoming to Mike as you could imagine after all that time on his own.

This morning he went to the Mens Shed and had a short visit.

Weather wise today was not looking all that bright.

He left about lunch time and it wasn’t long before the heavens opened up and down came the rain.

He put the tent up but eventually it got saturated along with everything else.

I spoke to him at about 5:00 pm and he is contemplating continuing his walk while there is some daylight left but if so he may not get very far.

The next Shed has been advised that he is on the way and Mike will contact them when he gets a bit closer.
