Heard Mike on Australia All Over (ABC Radio) this morning where he mentioned the AMSA Conference and that David Helmers had appointed me his guardian angel for the rest of the trip to Newcastle (it was me who told him that I was his guardian angel).

He was asked what was after this trip and Mike mentioned he wouldn’t mind going overseas for a trek but if his wife was listening she may disagree strongly with that idea.

He sent a text updating the distance he has travelled and it only gets more amazing.

He has calculated that he has travelled 8465 km so far and on reaching Newcastle it will take him to 8650 km.

How does that sound compared to your regular morning walk?
