When I spoke to Mike today he was approaching the 5 km mark from Ravensthorpe and the thought of a hot meal, shower and a dry clean bed was getting stronger by the minute.

During the day he met up with a surveyor and the conversation led to Mens Sheds, as it would, and the surveyor told Mike his father was a member of Hopetown Shed and he would drive Mike to them tomorrow.

Hopetown is about 55 km south of Ravensthorpe and Mike did consider visiting but because of the distance it was not viable

Not much else to add except that Mike will probably shout himself a comfortable cabin at the caravan park for tonight.
