Mike reached Quirindi today and met up with Cedric Grayson from the Quirindi shed.

I think a politician may have been involved in the conversation as well.

Mike is staying at the caravan park tonight and as we spoke he was waiting for the park manager to arrive.

Tomorrow he faces a trek of about 35 km to Murrurundi. He intends leaving at about 9 am and should reach his destination late afternoon.

The weather forecast the next 3-4 days in the Hunter area is for temperatures in the mid 30’s so walking may be a bit uncomfortable but I am sure that Mike has encountered temperatures like that before. It might entail some walking late afternoon/evening when it is cooler.

I will let the Murrurundi guys know that Mike is on his way.
