Mike Pauly, Newcastle to Hobart

Mike left Eden this morning at about 9:00 am this morning and is now battling the ups and downs of the Princes Highway.

It would certainly slow his progress under these conditions.

Next stop is hopefully Kiah where there is a Post Office and General Store but they may be closed by the time Mike arrives.

I don’t think it is a bustling metropolis but it sure would be a peaceful place to live.

Weather at last has been kind to Mike and this makes tackling the hills a little easier.

The main thing is that he seems in good spirits albeit a little discomfort from the knee.
