Mike Pauly, Newcastle to Hobart

Once again Mike had a rough night with another bout of storms to contend with so consequently there was a lot of missed sleep.

thankfully his wet gear has the opportunity to dry out as the weather is fine today.

During todays walk he had a couple of catnaps trying to catch up and even taking these into account Mike hopes to arrive at Genoa in Victoria-yes he has crossed the border.

He has averaged just under 3 km per hour which is good considering he has been walking into a headwind and coping with undulating landscape.

Somewhere during his trip through Victoria he may meet up with the local Constabulary, hope he doesn’t get done for speeding though.

He sounds in good spirits and I guess when he has a good days travelling in would lift him a bit.
