Mike Pauly, Newcastle to Hobart

As Willie Nelson, famed Country and Western singer, burbled “On the Road Again” so it is with Mike.

He left Devonport this morning and at time of writing had covered about 15 km, planning to meet his wife in Hobart and spend a few days with their son.

He hasn’t covered a lot of ground today and that is because the leg is giving him some trouble again and he has to rest it regularly.

Road conditions are generally good with a verge most of the time.

He had planned to go to Yarrawonga while he was in Vic to have work done on the trolley but didn’t make it-maybe on the return trip.

He plans to return to Melbourne on about the 22nd Dec and stay with his daughters and spend some time with grandkids.
