Mike Pauly, Newcastle to Hobart

When I spoke to Mike at about 4:00 pm he was sitting down feasting at the Van Diemen Land Creamery a few kilometres before Deloraine

I hope he escapes from here OK, the risk being is that he is right next door to the Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm and the temptations may be too much to bear.

Not only did Mike enjoy these places but on the way earlier in the day he also indulged himself at The Elizabeth Town Bakery

Meanwhile he has to continue his walk, which has been without leg pain today, and hopes to be in Deloraine for the night.

Maybe the walking will balance out the additional calories consumed during the days walk.
