Mike Pauly, Newcastle to Hobart

Mike spent last night camped near a small town called Exton , a few kilometres passed Deloraine.

He had a delayed start this morning as it was only 6 degrees when he woke up so he decided to stay warm for a bit longer.

He is travelling along the Meander Valley Highway which is aptly named as it does tend to meander a little.

It has been a quiet days walking and the weather has been on his side.

When I spoke to him it was about 21 degrees which is confortable.

He is currently about 6 km from Carrick , and if you care to research you could possibly find ten good reasons to visit.

This will probably be where Mike camps for the night and hopefully it will not be as chilly as it was this morning.
