Mike Pauly, Newcastle to Hobart

Mike has had a quiet day walking and the weather is being kind to him, about 25 degrees.

But with all the good things there are some not so good things.

Two punctures in one day and the only thing to offset that is being offered three cups of tea by some kindly motorists.

At time of writing Mike had covered about 19 km, not so bad considering.

He is taking some back roads recommended by the police so there are not many sizeable towns on the way.

Lets hope that his tyres and tubes hold out until he is back in civilisation again.
