Mike Pauly, Newcastle to Hobart

Mike has had a slow day today mainly because it has been so hot.

He even stopped and rested in the shade for a couple of hours.

He said that he will walk a bit into the evening when it is cooler which sounds like a good idea.

Each days walk is totally dependant on weather conditions.

His troublesome leg doesn’t help either.

During our conversation the subject of his Norwegian dresser came up so I must check that one out.

Quite an hilarious story.

Next stop is Ross which obviously has a lot of history behind it.

It is a bit off the Highway but when Mike realised that there was a hot bread shop there it was a diversion he could not refuse.
