Mike Pauly, Melbourne to Perth

Mike has had a slow day today and no wonder.

When I spoke to him a little earlier he was drenched, it has been pouring all day.

Hopefully some reprieve tomorrow with a slightly more promising forecast.

I must admit he was drying off sitting in the Wellington Hotel so there are some compensations I suppose.

For tonight he will try to negotiate a fair price for a room at the hotel(at least he will be dry) if not it is off to the local caravan park for another night with nature.

A newspaper form Murray Bridge did a story on Mike’s journey today and they will make it available in the next day or two
