Mike Pauly, Adelaide to Perth

StartFragment

When Mike arrived in Iron Know he didn’t quite have a brisk gait to his walk more of a hobble.

He found himself with some sort of trouble with his toes.

He managed to get a lift to Whyalla so that he could attend the Hospital for treatment.

After treatment Mike needed to get some supplies and Gary, the President of Whyalla Mens Shed offered to drive Mike back to Iron Knob. Many thanks to Gary for his assistance.

He had to stay another day in Iron Knob to give the medication time to take effect.

Yesterday he walked about 30 km but was still having some discomfort with about 55 km to Kimba the halfway point between the East and West Coast of Australia.

This morning he is still having toe problems and as he out it “he will be travelling slowly as fast as he can”.

His current location affords him at least some more trees for shade. This is his current location in relation to Kimba.
